Creating a Safe Environment for Our Animals

While moving our steers was a positive decision, it’s a reminder that maintaining a safe and pleasant environment requires foresight and planning.

  1. Regular Inspections: Daily inspect the animals and pens for the safety and health of the animals.

  2. Secure Fencing: Ensure the new pasture is securely fenced to prevent any escape attempts.

  3. Pasture Rotation: Rotate grazing areas to allow grass to recover and reduce the buildup of mud and waste.

  4. Adequate Shelter: Provide shaded areas where cattle can rest, especially during hot months.

Incorporating these strategies can make a positive difference in the lives of steers and improve farm management.

OMG! That filet was amazing. Coarse salt and pepper crusted, wrapped in bacon, seared in a smoking hot cast iron skillet, flipped and  finished in a 500 degree oven. Killer!
