Keepin' It Real at Weise Farms

There is something that Tim and I want to talk about that is near and dear to our hearts ~

Lab-grown "proteins" are already here, and they don't even call it "meat" anymore. Restaurants now ask "What Protein would you like?" I think that is to prepare us for what is to come.

And now I am hearing about “Moo Gloo” and how they are taking scraps of meat trimmings and using meat glue to form them into steaks.

The scary part I have read is that "formed meat" is something you have probably already consumed without even realizing it.

It is becoming so normal to see AI generated pictures of fake steaks that soon some will think that is what real food looks like, especially those who eat out a lot. Goodness!

AI pictures of people are everywhere. And when you scroll social media, you see all kinds AI generated ads. And they all seem to look the same. Is that where beef is going?

There would suddenly be no need for farms. No need for farmers, and no need for real food. If you are old enough you'll understand when I say, the Jetson's predicted the future!

The simple idea that real food comes from a real farm, produced by real people, is really starting to matter. Not just for the sake of knowing, but because it changes everything about what ends up on your table.

And let's talk about imported meats. If people want to eat a mix of 300,000 metric tons of ground beef from another country to save a little money, That's just fine with us. I don't want to eat a mix of a thousand cows in a single bite. Do you?

Every animal that we harvest from our farm was born and raised here. That's not something you can say about grocery store beef or restaurants.
