Wagyu Beef Cutlets for Chicken Fried Steak
Have you tried Wagyu Beef Chicken Fried Steak? If you haven't, you should! This is how we make it. It all starts with Weise Farms cutlets. Season the meat with salt and pepper to taste. Dredge in flour that has also been lightly seasoned with salt & pepper, and a 1/4 tsp of baking soda. Dip the flour-dredged cutlets in heavy cream, and then back into the flour. Place the breaded steaks on a pan lined with parchment paper and chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes, up to 24 hours. This cooling time will help the layers of breading ingredients solidify and adhere better. Take it out of the refrigerator about 30 minutes before you are ready to fry. Try using our homemade Wagyu beef tallow as a healthy alternative to other frying oils. We think you’ll love it!
